Come out for a giggle and a gawk at this year’s Theatresports®  Celebrity Challenge. This star-studded event will take place on Saturday August 12th at the Enmore Theatre and will raise vital funds
for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Theatresports® has been played in Sydney for 24 years and is  basically a series of spontaneously created theatre sketches based on surprise suggestions from the audience. Teams of four are challenged to play out a scene, sing a made up song, create a poem etc. The
result is a night of fabulous fun and plenty of laughs.  This annual event is always a sell out at the 1600 seat Enmore Theatre and audience members come prepared to see smatterings of comic brilliance and hilarious blunders. With improvised games and sketches similar to 'Whose Line Is It Anyway' and featuring stars of Channel 10's hit show 'Thank God You're Here', it's a rollercoaster ride of spontaneous fun.

Stars and players who have appeared in the past include Andrew Denton, Tara Moss, Wil Anderson, Benita Collings, Karl Kruszelnicki, Tahir, Adam Hills, Tony Eastley, Gabby Millgate, Gary Eck, Roy and HG, Libbi Gorr, Captain FeatherSword, Liz Ellis, Kamahl, Rhys Muldoon, Amelia Farrugia, Bill Harrigan, David McCormack, Jason Roberts, Ben Tari, Toni Pearen, Penny Cook, Deni Hines, Clive

The Starlight Children’s Foundation’s mission is to brighten the  lives of all seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families, throughout Australia. Starlight does not receive any government funding and is entirely supported by individuals and corporations through special events and in-kind support of both goods and services.

For the past three years, Impro Australia has singled out the Starlight Children’s Foundation as the charity we support at  our annual Theatresports® Celebrity Challenge fundraiser.  The entire proceeds of the night's Monster Raffle and a portion of ticket sales go to Starlight Children’s Foundation to help buy 'wishes'.
