ZODIAC
The impro comedy battle of the star signs…

Is an Aquarius more Artistic than an Aries? Is a Scorpio Sexier than a Sagittarius? Is a Gemini more economical than a Daewoo? Find out the answers in ZODIAC, the improvised comedy show that pits star signs against each other to find who is the bestest of them all.

ZODIAC, Sunday nights at the Newtown Theatre from March 11th, gathers some of the most heavenly bodies of improvised comedy, along with international gods of the Cracker Comedy festival, and groups them by star sign. Already confirmed players include: Andrew O'Keefe (Deal or No Deal & The Rich List), Rebecca De Unamuno (Comedy Inc), Jordan Raskopoulos (The Ronnie John Half Hour), Daniel Bordeaux (Thank God You're Here), Nicola Parry (Thank God You're Here), David Bloustein (The
Glasshouse) and Lyn Pierse (Going Home) - as well as cast members from the 2007 Theatresports Nationals Championships and Cracker Comedy Festival shows Blank The Musical, Quickdraw, Scrabble Unscripted and This Is Your Laugh. These vets will be teamed with rookie players and teams from the Theatresports® Schools Competition Grand Final in a comic (and cosmic) contest of celestial proportions!

Will the Librans be able to make a decision? Will the Virgos let anyone else make a decision? Will anyone stay offstage from a team full of Leos?

Challenges will be taken from the crowd and the comedians must create fresh new comedy scenes and sketches based on the stereotypical character traits of their star signs. Which sign will ascend? Whose planet rules? How long with the season go before someone does a ‘Uranus’
gag? Is their fate already sealed, or can these Impro All-Stars change their destiny?

Be there when the legends of Theatresports® enter the ring for their most challenging contest yet! ZODIAC is improvised comedy taken to its Astro-logical conclusion.

Played all over the world, Theatresports® is cutting-edge improvised comedy, and the inspiration for TV shows like “Whose Line is it Anyway?”
and Thank God You’re Here.
